End Of Week One

Seeing that I had been working on the screenplay for over a week now, this title seems to work as any, even if it my first entry. I felt that I needed an outlet to get my thoughts in print, hence why I have the blog; however, if anyone read will read it is the question. It's Only Art originally was to be filmed very quickly, and much unprepared in late 2002/early 2003. I had a few people in ind at the time, and it was all pretty much go. Then I crapped out in the process, shevling the project indefiantly. It was not one of my prouder moments. The original screen play was not too much different, but there was certainly a lot left to be desired. The character of Ivan, was a little too easy to like. As of late, I've been somewhat hard to get along with, as should Ivan. Heather is based on two girls, Julie M. and Rachel G. These weren't long relationships by any sense of the word, but they certainly had an adverse effect on me. The three principle girls in the screenplay (Alycia, Melanie and Cyndi) haven't changed much in respect, Alycia has been given much more depth, like her real life counterpart even though I haven't kept up with her whereabouts (She got married and last I heard had a child) The Melanie double lfet for the sunny climbs of Santa Cruz "Cyndi" is still in town, and as crazy as ever. I may try to contact her about it. To be honest, it's one of my favorite roles in the script. So far, I've only involved one other person so far, and I haven't heard from him this weekend. This person (I'm not naming names, due to liabilty reasons), has had some experience in film, so I am hopeing to rope him into this project of mine. I think this time out, It's Only Art may have a chance. I've learned my lesson last time trying to involve people in half assed projects. It isn't fair and I should have been planned from the start, so here I go. Thing can only go up from here, seeing that bottom is hard to stray from.
